About The Old Florida Vibes Duo

Born and raised in the bright shiny rays of the sunshine state, the duo behind Old Florida Vibes bleed orange juice and typically ride their alligator to work. You'll know you've encountered Mr. Old Florida Vibes when you catch a brightly dressed, camera-wielding, tall, curly-headed outdoorsman on the hunt for the native flora and fauna. Mrs. Old Florida vibes on the other hand is the one donning an overly loaded fanny pack, iPhone, notebook, and seeking out the best eats and cocktails the sunshine state can turn out. Together, their love for the swamps and sea, wildlife and wild eats sure make for some interesting adventures. Grab your sense of humor, a good drink, and let's explore this big ole piece of marsh together.

High Springs based artist and Florida native David Hunter Turner of Old Florida Vibes is a photographer, illustrator, author, and painter focused on works in, around, and inspired by public lands and the flora, fauna, and cultures from which they are composed.

Turner features much of his work on social media @OldFloridaVibes to spread awareness of the delicate and often endangered ecosystems he is inspired by. He is honored to be a part of the Florida Springs Council communications advisory board in support of their efforts to protect the Florida spring network and invites you to explore their incredible work on social media @FloridaSpringsCouncil.

When not illustrating, you'll catch him with his adventure, life partner, wife, and scuba buddy Chelsea sippin’ on cocktails or hanging out with the coolest cat in the land: Miss Bagheera. If you have a little swamp in your blood, he invites you to pour a good drink and join along in the exploration of this big ole piece of marsh through his works.
